Ironman Winners

The Ironman World Championship is an annual long distance triathlon event hosted in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, United States. It is widely considered to be one of the most challenging one-day sporting events in the world. Even if you’re not a triathlete, chances are you’ve heard of the Ironman World Championship. It’s one of the most iconic events in all of sports, and it takes place in one of the most beautiful places on earth.

Every year, triathletes from all over the world descend upon Kailua-Kona to test their mettle against some of the toughest competition in triathlon. The race itself is no joke: a 2.4-mile swim, followed by a 112-mile bike ride, followed by a 26.2-mile run. And all of that has to be done within a 17-hour time limit.

List of Winners of the Ironman World Championship – Men’s

Since the first Ironman World Championship was held in 1978, there have been a total of 43 winners. Of those 43 winners, 20 have been from the United States, 10 from Germany, 7 from Australia, 3 from Belgia, 3 from Canada, 3 from Norway and 1 from France.
